5.6.3 Document Level Accounting
5.6.3 Document Level Accounting
Header Level Accounting
If no changes are made to financial tracking defaults, Header (Requisition) Level accounting is in place. All order lines retain appropriate defaults.
Order Accounting
When changes to financial tracking codes are made at Order Level, PECOS P2P recognises that requisition level defaults have been overridden. If changes are subsequently made at Requisition Level the following warning is displayed: ** Order Accounting Is in Effect.
Line Item Accounting
When changes to financial tracking codes are made at Line Level, PECOS P2P recognises that requisition level defaults have been overridden. If changes are subsequently made at Requisition Level the following warning is displayed: ** Line Item Accounting Is in Effect.
Timing
It is important that edits to financial tracking codes are undertaken in the correct order due to the nature of the changes affecting the requisition at each level.
- If order level changes are made AFTER line level changes, the line level changes will be lost.
- If requisition level changes are made AFTER order or line level changes, the original order or line level changes will be lost.
A warning message is displayed in the Requisition Level Financial Tracking screen if order or line item accounting is in effect.
